• I'm still working my way through this book, but I have to say that I'm glad that I found it.
  
  I've been searching high and low for a textbook type book that would help me grow and better understand my own wedding planning business. After several months, I finally found this one and snagged it for under $70. The text is interesting and well worded. You don't feel overwhelmed by anything and it's all simplified as best they could.
  
  There are also scenario situations put into the book like, "If Lucy did this, and this was going on, then this happened, what would you do?" and it actually applies to real situations I've run into so it was helpful to really think about it and prep myself for something like that.
  
  I'm about 2/3 of the way into the book and I'm really impressed. If you're starting up your own company - I'd start here. This might just be the bible you're looking for to get your company off the ground and running or at least let you know what you're signing up for.
• This book is very interesting. It wasn’t what I expected. It’s so much more. It explains tradition, gives situations that you would have to work through as a planner and the pic are beautiful. Glad I bought this book

• Book was required purchase for a REQUIRED wedding planning class. VERY POOR CHOICE.
  This book is geared for the wanna-be bride so that she can be educated and ready to plan her big day. It is NOT effective as a teaching tool. Especially for a male who is REQUIRED to take this class and really can't answer questions like "what is your favourite wedding movie" (uhhh...mom, does The Hangover count?).....or "which trends are overdone?"...(like, do I care? I'm a dude. It''s HER day)
